Dale (look close and you can see the dimples) and I make our home in both Oregon and Washington.  We have a small home 10 minutes outside of Portland. It is close to the airport for when I judge and a convenient spot for Dale's Harley buddies to congregate as they head off to parts unknown. Our home in Washington is on a mountain top in Goldendale siting on 20 acres of which 5 is fenced for our dogs.

Dale and I have 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Each is special and unique in their own way and we are proud of them all.  A new website (link) is underway featuring them all.

We live with two dogs; our Samoyed, Maggie, and our Toy Fox Terrier, Collette. They are beyond spoiled.  Our kennel name is d'Keta Samoyeds which has been in exsistance since 1989. The new d'Keta litter, just 3 weeks old, is at breeder Ryann Grady's home in Seattle. Ryann, Jim Cheskawich and I will be heading for the National Specialty in Utah in October.

I have been an AKC Judge for approximately 10 years.  I judge the Working Group and 2 Non-Sporting Breeds: Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs.  Judging is my passion due to my love of dogs and the sport.  I have been fortunate in having had experienced and knowledgable mentors and appreciate their ongoing guidance.

Dale loves to ride both street bikes and dirt bikes.  His Harley-Davidson Road King shines like glass.  We also have 8 dirt bikes in Goldendale and all of our children and grandchildren ride. Dale and our oldest son, Joe, are heading for Sturgis this August.

Dale and I have a wonderful family and many great friends whom have so blessed and enriched our lives. We are grateful to them all.

Landmark Ford, where Dale has worked for 30 years, is like his family as well. He hasn't set a date yet for his retirement. I know he's ready, but I think he would just miss everyone  too much!
